God is good! That is all I have been able to think about lately since our miracle has arrived. She is absolutely perfect and we love her more then words can express. We spend most of our days holding and cuddling her. It is the best feeling in the world having her in my arms.
We now know that the left side of her heart is big enough to use so only one surgery will be needed instead of several like we thought. Thank you for all your prayers we know that they worked. They have to go in and make her aortic arch bigger and also will fix the hole in her heart. We are just waiting to hear when that will happen. Hopefully we will get a surgery date scheduled either tomorrow or Tuesday. We will keep you updated.

That is wonderful news! God is good, and I've realized lately how powerful prayer really is!! I always knew it, but had never experienced it like I did with my dad's surgery recently. I will continue to pray! I am so happy for you both and love seeing all the precious pictures! She is beautiful, and her name is so sweet too! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping us updated. Eva is raising money for the American Heart Association (jump rope for heart). Yesterday, just out of the blue, she told me "Maybe this money will help Leah Faith." So just think about Eva jumping for Leah Faith this week. :)
